CD Packaging Concept

My goal with this project was to combine paper engineering with my graphic and industrial design skills to create a packaging concept that was functional but also interactive. The music industry is becoming more and more digital, and I wanted to explore ways to breathe new life into CD packaging and make it more tactile and engaging.

I cut out this mockup by hand to test for functionality. The next step is to get a high quality laser cut version printed and assembled. Mirage is a purely theoretical band name. I created the album name and track titles to go along with it to keep it original.
