I minored in Adventure Education at Fort Lewis College, so I wanted to combine my expertise when approaching this infographic project. There is much that is still misunderstood about the advantages of progressive education—experiential learning, more specifically. Understanding different philosophies of education and where our educational practices come from is not only beneficial for those hoping to teach, but also any group/organization in need of team building. I tried to paint an objective picture of both traditional and progressive education — they each have benefits when used in the right context.
